CALEXICO Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Imperial County Transportation Commission (ICTC) is excited to announce that they are the recipients of a U.S. Department of Transportation, Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant. ICTC was awarded $12.8 million that will go towards the Intermodal Transportation Center in Calexico. The new facility will be located on Third St. and Rockwood Ave. The facility will provide several amenities such as purchasing public transit tickets, shaded canopies waiting areas, benches, bicycle racks, security infrastructure, public restrooms, and an ADA-compliant pedestrian sidewalk.
